Describe a moment of unexpected kindness

I was walking on the street and these homeless people came up and were asking for money, there were other people there being mean to them and telling them to get off the streets and to get a job. I didn’t believe that was right or kind at all and when I went over there to give this guy some money there was a kid there also which was very surprising and sad. When I gave the homeless guy the money and he went to go get some sandwich. He brought it back and kindly gave it to the kid which I don’t even think he knew the kid, but that very much surprised me and was unexpected.  Today in class today we talked more about poems and the meaning of all the lines. Then we had to make slideshows about how beauty doesn't last forever.
